Appearance: Allan is seventeen, 5'11", and scrawny. His shoulder-length golden blond hair is frequently pulled back into a high ponytail. He tends to wear clothes he has ascertained to have not been made by children in a sweatshop somewhere, and gets mad whenever someone throws out his socks just because they have so many holes in them they can't be considered socks anymore. He seems to have circles permanently etched beneath his eyes from his many all-nighters. Has the Chinese character for "peace" tattooed between his shoulder blades. History: Allan grew up in a very free-thinking household, leading to his wild theories and his sorting into Ravenclaw. He is a Gemini, as he is wont to tell people. In his fourth year he started an underground newspaper called the "Hogwarts Independant Journal," written mostly by him, that contains articles about such things as Dumbledore's Secret Lab and What The Ministry Didn't Tell Us About Grindelwald. He is teaching himself Japanese because he is intent on finding out what he is certain are the mysteries of "the Orient."
Personality: Allan is arrogant, though he himself would never think that, because he *is* superior, after all. Rather than hating those "lower" than him, he merely pities them. He is made fun of behind his back; he knows this, and doesn't care, considering it to be mere prattling of the uninformed. He sometimes unintentially hurts his sister emotionally without ever knowing. He is willing to do nearly anything to find out "The Truth," sometimes to his own detriment. Due to his constant searching his opinion of what that truth is changes as frequently as the phases of the moon. When one of his theories is disproved, he simply moves on. His only constant theory is the one that all of human history has been guided by some sort of secret organization with their own ulterior motives. No matter what anyone says, he will always continue to believe in it, saying that "that's just what they *want* you to think." Part of his obsession with outrageous theories is the deep-down opinion that the world is boring and needs spicing up.
